FR/Ineris: Philippe Bodenez appointed Government Commissioner

Philippe Bodenez has been appointed Government Commissioner at Ineris (Institut national de l'environnement industriel et des risques), according to an order from the Minister for Ecological Transition, Biodiversity and International Negotiations on Climate and Nature dated 03/06/2026, and published in the Journal officiel on 10/06/2026. He succeeds Cédric Bourillet.

Philippe Bodenez has been head of the Health Environment Circular Economy Department in the Directorate-General for Risk Prevention since 2018. Prior to this, he was Deputy Director of Accidental Risks in the Technological Risks Department of the same Directorate (2017).

From 2015 to May 2017, this Mines engineer advised the Minister for the Environment, Ségolène Royal, first on technological risks, nuclear safety and the circular economy (2015-2016), then on the prevention of chemical and technological risks, health, nuclear safety, the circular economy and waste (2016-2017).

At the Directorate-General for Risk Prevention, Philippe Bodenez was also head of the Soil and Subsoil Office (2009-2013). He then moved to Bercy…
