SolarPower Europe: Barbara Flesche (Statkraft Europe) chairs the Board of Directors

Barbara Flesche, Executive Vice President of Statkraft Europe, has been elected President of SolarPower Europe, the European trade union for the PV industry announced on 07/05/2026.

She replaces Aristotelis Chantavas, who has held the position since 2020.

In addition, Alexandra Sombsthay, Executive Vice President of Akuo Energy, has been re-elected Vice Chair of the Board of Directors. Stefano Lorenzi, CEO of 3SUN, was also elected Vice-Chairman.
