FR / MTE: Departure of François Villerez , Head of Mathieu Lefèvre's office, replaced by Mariana Caillaud

Mariana Caillaud has been appointed Director of the Cabinet of Mathieu Lefèvre, Minister attached to the Minister for Ecological Transition, Biodiversity and International Negotiations on Climate and Nature, with responsibility for Ecological Transition, by an order dated 09/04/2026, published in the Journal officiel of 23/04/2026.

She succeeds François Villerez, who has held this post since 23/10/2025, and was appointed Regional Director of the Environment, Planning and Housing for the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, by an order dated 02/04, published in the Journal Officiel of 23/04. He has been appointed for a period of four years, with a probationary period of six months.

Mariana Caillaud was, until 15/04/2026, Industry, Innovation and Ecological Transition Adviser (Economy, Finance, Industry and Digital Division) in the Office of the Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, since 02/10/2024.

She was previously advisor in charge of relations with the economic sector at the Ministry of Ecology, Energy and Territories since 2022.
