Vincent Coissard has been appointed Government Commissioner at IFP Energies Nouvelles (Ifpen) by a decree dated 21 October 2026, published in the Central Administration Bulletin on 27 October 2026. He takes up this post as the successor to Alexandre Chevallier.

Vincent Coissard has been Deputy Director for the Security of Energy and Mineral Resource Supply at the Directorate-General for Energy and Climate (DGEC) since 1 October 2026. He was previously Deputy Director for Waste and the Circular Economy at the Directorate-General for Risk Prevention (DGPR), a post he had held since 2018. He was also appointed Government Commissioner to NaTran and GRDF in October 2026.
