Transition Calendar: key events from 26 to 30 October

In Yerevan, COP 17 on biodiversity will conclude on 30 October: delegations will be expected to finalise negotiations on the assessment of the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Framework and measures designed to accelerate the achievement of its 2030 targets, including the restoration of 30 per cent of degraded terrestrial and marine ecosystems, a target that has so far been achieved only to a very limited extent.

In Brussels, European Hydrogen Week is bringing together all stakeholders in the sector, whilst the first international Solar Energy and Biodiversity conference is taking place in Paris. Finally, the second International Conference on Bioenergy & Bioeconomy is taking place at the University of Seville in Spain.
