Holosolis: Henri Poupart-Lafarge appointed chairman of the photovoltaic gigafactory

Henri Poupart-Lafarge has been appointed chairman of Holosolis, the company told News Tank on 7 October 2026. He replaces Bertrand Lecacheux, who has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Business at Cap Ingelec.

Henri Poupart-Lafarge was previously Chairman and then Chief Executive Officer of Alstom between January 2016 and March 2026. He also served as Chairman of Alstom Transport between July 2011 and January 2016 and as a technical adviser to the Ministry of the Economy between September 1994 and January 1998. Henri Poupart-Lafarge is a graduate of the École Polytechnique.

Holosolis is a company planning to build and operate Europe’s largest photovoltaic gigafactory in Hambach (Moselle), with production scheduled to begin in early 2027. Its funding has been secured in…
