Crédit Agricole: a new division dedicated to the conservation and regeneration of natural assets

Crédit Agricole is launching “Crédit Agricole Capital Naturel”, a new division dedicated to the conservation, regeneration and enhancement of natural capital, with an initial operational focus on forests, the bank announced on 28 September 2026.

The aim of this division is “to support clients, local stakeholders and owners of natural assets in addressing the growing challenges linked to climate change and the conservation of natural resources (water, biodiversity, soil, forests, etc.)”.

The bank is thus positioning itself “across the entire value chain, from strategic advice to the development of forest restoration projects, including the sustainable management of forest assets, the implementation of low-carbon transition projects and the design of dedicated investment solutions”.
