Iberdrola: Marie Thabard, Director of Development and Offshore New Business

Marie Thabard has been appointed Director of Offshore Development and New Business at Iberdrola, she announced on 22 September 2026.

She had previously served as Director of Offshore Operations at Iberdrola France since November 2025. Marie Thabard will continue to serve as Chair of Corimer, a role she has held since February 2026, she told News Tank.

“This new role takes me a little further away from the Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm, but I will continue to follow regional issues relating to our wind farms - whether under development, under construction or in operation - very closely,” she said.

Marie Thabard holds a PhD in marine biology from the University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom). She joined Iberdrola in November 2019 as senior compliance manager.
