Agenda: events not to be missed from 21 September to 25 September

This week’s key climate and energy events will take place mainly in New York, where the 20^th edition of NYC Climate Week is being held from 21 to 27 September, organised in collaboration with the United Nations. Energy is this year’s overarching theme, and the world’s leading decision-makers will be in attendance, including Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, and Woepke Hokstra, the European Commissioner for Climate Action, as well as a delegation from the Council of the European Union.

Three other major European events will also feature during the week: WindEnergy in Hamburg; the Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week; and the Medclivar conference, dedicated to global warming in the Mediterranean, which will be held in Limassol (Cyprus).
