WindEurope: Rasmus Errboe, President; Salvatore Bernabei, Vice-President

Rasmus Errboe, CEO of Orsted, has been appointed president of WindEurope, the European wind energy association announced on 16 September 2026. Salvatore Bernabei, CEO of Enel Green Power, has also been appointed vice-president. Both terms of office will last 18 months, until March 2028.

Rasmus Errboe succeeds Henrik Andersen, CEO of Vestas. Salvatore Bernabei succeeds Rasmus Errboe as vice-chair and also takes over as chair of WindEurope’s executive committee. Alfredo Parres, Senior Vice President responsible for business development for renewable energy and power systems in Europe at Hitachi Energy, has been appointed Vice-Chair of the committee.
