Electric heavy goods vehicle charging: €90 M for 20 high-power charging stations in France and Europe

€90 million to fund an initial roll-out of 20 high-power charging stations for electric heavy goods vehicles in France and across Europe: this is the amount raised by VINCI Concessions, alongside the investment firm Épopée Gestion and Ademe Investissement. VINCI Concessions announced this on 10/09/2026 as part of a partnership aimed at accelerating the decarbonisation of road freight transport.

This funding, supplemented by European funds from the CEF/AFIF programmes, is intended to enable the roll-out of an initial series of charging stations, the vast majority of which will be located in France at key road junctions. An expansion is planned in Spain and Germany to begin establishing a continent-wide charging corridor.
