Kirkbi Climate: Lars Villadsen appointed CFO / COO; Emma Nehrenheim appointed Head of Energy Transition

With the appointments of Lars Villadsen as CFO / COO and Emma Nehrenheim as Head of Energy Transition, Kirkbi Climate, established in 2025, "strengthens leadership as it implements ambitious climate investment strategy", announced the Kirk Kristiansen's family office (Lego group founders and owners) on 04 September 2026.

Kirkbi Climate is the climate-focused branch of Kirkbi and develops itself from a thematic investor to an active owner that helps build, scale and operate businesses within energy transition, circular plastics, and land sustainability.
KIRKBI Climate currently manages a portfolio of more than DKK 10 Bn (€1,3 Bn) and plans to invest an additional DKK 10 billion over five years.
