"Integrated action on climate and clean air is one of the highest-return investments available to governments today: every dollar invested in solutions generates around 15 dollars of economic benefits", according to a new UNEP (United Nations Environment Program) report, released on 7 September 2026.

The document, entitled “Hidden assets: the economic and health case for climate and clean air action”, explores how responding to reduce emissions and implement a package of 25 assessed solutions can create economic opportunities.
