FR / LPO: ‘As we approach a decisive election year, the ecological transition must be made a priority’

"As a decisive election year gets underway, the ecological transition must be established as a key priority in political programmes," stated the French League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) on 2 September 2026.

The organisation regrets that political decisions “continue to ignore the urgency of reducing the impact on living organisms, blindly perpetuating harmful practices. The changes currently underway demand an ambitious, comprehensive and long-term political response to help nature".
