Agenda : events not to be missed between 07 and 11/09

In Brussels, Dan Jorgensen, Commissioner for Energy and Housing, is launching a structured dialogue on renewable energy with the sector’s various stakeholders, with a view to gathering views and ideas on the policies to be pursued after 2030. In Parliament, the ENVI Committee is meeting with Woepke Hoskstra, Commissioner for Climate Action, as well as Leena Yla-Mononen, Executive Director of the European Environment Agency, and Simon Stiel, Executive Director of UNEP.
A handful of events of varying scales are taking place across Europe. The most significant is the annual congress of the European Meteorological Society, which is being held in Utrecht and online throughout the week.
