FR / 2027 Presidential Election: T.Pellerin-Carlin, agriculture and ecology adviser to Raphaël Glucksmann

Thomas Pellerin-Carlin, a French Member of the European Parliament, is the agriculture and ecology adviser to Raphaël Glucksmann, a declared candidate in the Socialist Party primary for the 2027 presidential election (and also a Member of the European Parliament), which is due to take place in early October 2026, News Tank reports on 1 September 2026.

Thomas Pellerin-Carlin is a Member of the European Parliament (Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats) and a member of the APN (National Political Assembly, a deliberative body within Place publique responsible for implementing policy guidelines).

He is also a researcher specialising in European energy and climate policy. He led the work of the Energy Centre at the Jacques Delors Institute, carrying out analyses and formulating proposals to promote an energy transition that benefits the climate, social justice and European sovereignty.

He teaches at Sciences Po and the College of Europe. Finally, he joined Place publique in 2021, where he contributes in particular to work on energy, climate and ecology.
