FR / Ministry for ecological transition : Alexis Vuillemin appointed Secretary-General

Alexis Vuillemin, a graduate of the École des Ponts et Chaussées, has been appointed Secretary-General of the Ministry for Ecological Transition by a decree dated 31 August 2026, published in the Official Journal on 1 September.

He succeeds Guillaume Leforestier, who has held the post since January 2022.

Alexis Vuillemin is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and the École nationale des ponts et chaussées, and holds an MBA from the Collège des ingénieurs. During his career, he served as deputy chief of staff to the Minister for Ecological Transition (2022-2024), then as chief of staff to the Minister of State for Transport.
