FR / CGDD: Sébastien Terra appointed Deputy Director of Environmental Information

Sébastien Terra, an engineer specialising in statistics, economics and data, has been appointed Deputy Director of Environmental Information within the Data and Statistical Studies Department of the French General Commission for Sustainable Development (CGDD / commissariat général au Développement durable), by decree dated 26 August 2026, published in the Official Journal on 28 August.

He succeeds Béatrice Michalland, who has held this post since 2020.

A graduate of ENSAI, Sébastien Terra began his career at the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development as a research officer specialising in the valuation of environmental goods and services.
