Agenda: Upcoming events between 01 and 04 September

'C'est la rentrée' for the Brussels institutions! At Council level, Member states delegates will hold three working parties meetings this week in order to prepare next week's Energy Council. Meanwhile, the European Parliament’s Committees on the Environment, Climate Change and Food Security (ENVI) and Public Health (SANT) are holding a joint meeting on 1 and 2 September.
A handful of events of various sizes take place across Europe. The most important one is SMM 2026, dedicated to the shipping industry, in Hamburg, with 2200 exhibitors expected. Other events include, among others, Power to the Peatlands, in the Netherlands, United by Rivers, in Warsaw, and the Onshore Wind Conference in Edinburgh.
