Verkor: Laurent Debrue to become CEO with effect from 1 September 2026

Laurent Debrue has been appointed CEO of the French battery manufacturer Verkor, he announced on 4 August 2026. He will take up his post on 1 September 2026.

He will replace Benoit Lemaignan, co-founder and managing director since 2020, who will join the company’s supervisory board as vice-chairman. “In this role, he will continue to contribute to Verkor’s long-term development by supporting strategic partnerships, major funding initiatives and dialogue with key stakeholders. He will remain actively involved in supporting the company’s strategy and vision,” according to Verkor.
