Mariana Caillaud will step down from her role as chief of staff to Mathieu Lefèvre, Minister of State for Ecological Transition, with effect from 27 July 2026, according to a decree dated 23 July published in the Official Journal on 25 July 2026.

The text states that Mariana Caillaud is “being called upon to take up other duties”, without specifying her next posting. Nor does it name a successor to head the Minister’s private office.
