Siemens Energy/Siemens Gamesa: transition underway to a new brand called ‘Omterra’

Omterra is the brand name under which Siemens Energy and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will soon be brought together, Siemens Energy announced on 14 July 2026. The transition to the new brand “will be implemented gradually”.

Siemens Energy was formed following a demerger from Siemens AG in 2020 and has since been completely independent of the German group.
