Agenda: events not to be missed from 13 to 17 July

From Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 July, the ministerial segment of the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) will take place in New York, under the auspices of ECOSOC, with the full forum running since 7 July and closing on 16 July.

Over the same three days, the Smart Village Network hosts a workshop looking at community-level approaches to food system sustainability and biodiversity protection.

On 15 July, an online webinar will examine the policy agenda needed to scale up bio-based materials within a circular economy.

Finally, by 17 July, the European Parliament is expected to receive new proposals on the revision of the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), aligning it with the 2040 target of a 90% reduction in emissions compared to 1990 levels.
