Climatic event: 56M€ to support farmers in Croatia, Cyprus, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia

A emergency financial support is provided to the agricultural sectors affected by adverse climatic events and natural disasters in Croatia, Cyprus, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia, according to a Commission implementing regulation, published in the Official Journal of the EU on 13/07/2026.

In the details, the following amounts were allowed :
• 4,4M€ for Croatia, affected by cold-spells, frost, access precipitation and drought during the spring and summer 2025 ;
• 4,6M€ for Cyprus, affected by severe drought, caused by lack of precipitation and extreme heat during summer 2025 ;
• 30M€ for Portugal, affected by the storm Kristin during the winter 2026 ;
• 14,8M€ for Romania, impacted by drought with repeated heatwaves in the summer 2025 ;
• 2,8M€ for Slovenia, affected by two cold spells during…
