SDGs: MEPs delegation travels to New York for UN High-Level Political Forum

Ten Members of the European Parliament from the Development (DEVE) and Environment (ENVI) Committees will be in New York between 13 and 15 July 2026 for the ministerial segment of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), where they are expected to hold discussions with senior UN officials, representatives from international bodies, national parliaments, youth groups, and civil society organisations on how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are being implemented.

Held annually under the UN Economic and Social Council, the HLPF brings together governments and stakeholders to track how far the world has come toward meeting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
