TotalEnergies: sale of its distributed solar assets (170 MW) to Amarenco and AMPYR Distributed Energy

TotalEnergies is selling all its distributed solar assets (approximately 170 MW), mainly rooftop installations, in seven European countries (France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Luxembourg), the group announced on 9 July 2026.

The energy company is therefore winding down its distributed generation activities in these countries, “in line with its strategy to refocus its renewable energy development on large-scale solar and wind farms to capitalise on economies of scale”.
