Ethanol: partnership between Vivescia, Roquette and E. Leclerc to develop a low-carbon supply chain

To develop a low-carbon ethanol sector in France, is the aim of the three-year partnership, signed on 6 July 2026 and running until 2029, between the agricultural co-operative Vivescia, the industrial group Roquette and the retail group Siplec E.Leclerc, as announced by all three on the same day.

Vivescia supplies the wheat from farms participating in its ‘Transitions’ programme, launched in 2023, Roquette produces the ethanol at its site in Beinheim (Bas-Rhin), and Siplec E.Leclerc incorporates this ethanol into its entire range of petrol - SP95-E5, SP95-E10 and E85 - which is sold at the 734 petrol stations in its network.
