HCC: 82 recommendations and ‘key policy directions’ to drive progress on climate policy

"Ten years on from the Paris Agreement, the impacts of climate change are becoming increasingly dangerous: for health, for ecosystems, for infrastructure, and for economic activity. To contribute to the debate, the HCC is, for the first time, proposing overarching guidelines to shape the development of French climate policies up to 2030", said Jean-François Soussana, Chair of the French Haut Conseil pour Climate, during the presentation of its 8th annual report, assessing climate action in 2025, in Paris, on 7 July 2026.
