INRAE: Isabelle Caillard, Director of Higher Education, Sites and European Affairs

Isabelle Caillard has been appointed Director of Higher Education, Campuses and European Affairs at INRAE for a four-year term starting on 1 July 2026, the French public National Institute for Agricultural Research, Food and the Environment has announced on the same day.

“Isabelle Caillard has long been involved in science, education and partnerships at various levels, from the regional to the European level. She is now responsible for implementing the institute’s policies relating to Europe, site strategy and academic partnerships”, states INRAE.

She graduated in 1989 from Ensia (now AgroParisTech) with a degree in agri-food engineering, and in 1993 obtained a PhD in food science and nutrition from Université Paris Cité, as well as a DEA (postgraduate diploma) in the same discipline…
