Floating wind power: strategic partnership between Qair and the Chinese manufacturer Wison New Energies

French developer Qair International and Wison New Energies have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at jointly developing floating offshore wind projects in Europe, the Chinese company announced on 30/06/2026.

The agreement aims to combine Qair’s expertise in renewable energy project development, financing, construction and operations management, with Wison New Energies’ EPCI and O&M expertise, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations and maintenance.

“Both parties will jointly assess potential project opportunities, optimise the time to market for deep-water projects and support the commercialisation of the relevant solutions, thereby contributing to green energy networks in Europe,” says Wison New Energies.
