Mirova: Léa Dunand-Chatellet appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding founder Philippe Zaouati

Léa Dunand-Chatellet has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Mirova with effect from 1 July 2026, the asset management firm specialising in sustainable investment announced on 30 June. She succeeds Philippe Zaouati, founder of Mirova and Chief Executive Officer since 2014.

A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure and holder of an agrégation in economics and management, Léa Dunand-Chatellet began her career in 2005 at Oddo Securities as a non-financial analyst. In 2010, she joined Sycomore Asset Management, where she became a partner and head of ESG management. There, she developed a model for integrating non-financial criteria into investment management and a range of SRI funds. In 2015, she joined Mirova as head of equity management. Since June 2018, she has been Head of Responsible Investment and ESG Portfolio Manager at DNCA Finance (another subsidiary of Natixis IM), where she has established and developed the company’s responsible investment business.
