Which energy policy for France? The main parties' positions ahead of the 2027 elections (UFE)

As the 2027 presidential campaign gets underway, the round-table discussion ‘Which energy policy for France? ’ at the French Electricity Union’s conference, held in Paris on 23 June 2026, invited political figures from across the political spectrum - including prospective candidates and those close to the leadership of each party - to set out their positions on the subject, as well as their vision for priorities in this area.

The energy policy priorities and visions of each of the following figures are set out as follows:
