I4CE: Call for entries now open for the Julie Evain Prize, dedicated to sustainable finance

To pay tribute to Julie Evain, a researcher at I4CE (Institute for Climate Economics), who passed away in February 2025, by recognising young economists whose work aims to better align finance with climate and environmental objectives: this is the aim of the Julie Evain Prize, which is opening its first call for applications on 23 June 2026, with the deadline set for 5 October 2026. The prize will then be presented during the second edition of Paris Climate and Nature Week in February 2027.

“More than just a research prize, the Julie Evain Prize is designed to act as a springboard. It recognises not only a piece of work, but also a career trajectory, ambition and the ability to disseminate ideas to the places where they can transform public policy,” say the prize organisers. Various types of work and fields of research may be submitted:
• Academic research
• Grey literature & public policy briefs
• Professional reports
• Educational initiatives & open educational resources
