FR / Comité national de la biodiversité: appointment of six new members

Six new members have joined the French public Comité national de la biodiversité, each appointed for a five-year term by a decree of the Ministry for Ecological Transition dated 15 June 2026, published in the Official Journal on 23 June.

The following have been appointed:
• As representative of business associations active in the environmental sector: Aurélien Oosterlinck (alternate), Head of Biodiversity and Economy at the Orée association, replacing Sylvie Gillet.

• As a representative of the shellfish farming sector: Kévin Cascella (alternate), environmental affairs officer at the National Shellfish Farming Committee, replacing Anne-Laure Prego-Cauchet.

• As representatives of associations, organisations or foundations engaged in environmental protection activities: on behalf of the Global Youth Biodiversity Network, Thomas Noël du Payrat (alternate), treasurer, replacing Marius Ruch.

• As a representative of the Federation of Nature Conservation Organisations: Matthieu Viallefont (deputy), Network Co-ordinator, replacing Bruno Mounier
