Fr / Agence de l'Eau Seine-Normandie: Damien Lamotte appointed Government Commissioner

Damien Lamotte has been appointed Government Commissioner to the Agence de l'Eau Seine-Normandie by a decree issued by the French Minister for Ecological Transition, Biodiversity and International Climate and Nature Negotiations dated 12 June 2026, and published in the Official Journal on 20 June 2026. He replaces Célia de Lavergne, who has held the post since 2023.

A graduate of the École des Ponts, Damien Lamotte has been Deputy Director of the Water and Biodiversity Directorate within the Ministry since 2022. He has spent his entire career in the civil service, first as Deputy Secretary-General for Regional Affairs for the Centre Region, then as Deputy Director at the Somme Departmental Directorate for Territorial Development (DDT).
