FR / National Plastics Action Plan: new consultation with stakeholders in a plenary session on 16/06/2026

All stakeholders involved in the consultations on the French National Plastics Action Plan are due to meet on 16 June 2026, at the invitation of Mathieu Lefèvre, Minister of State for Ecological Transition, to discuss the plan’s 12 key measures, the Minister’s office announced on 15 June 2026.

This plenary meeting follows on from the announcements made by the President of the Republic at the Ecological Planning Council on 19 May 2026, to launch consultations aimed at defining concrete actions to meet the European recycling targets for 2030.

The Minister had therefore met individually with industry representatives, market operators, distributors and recyclers in meetings held the day after the Ecological Planning Council, followed by a meeting with environmental organisations and researchers, and two meetings with campaign groups, the last of which took place on 15 June 2026.
