FR / DGEC: Mickaël Thiery reappointed Deputy Director for Climate Action

Mickaël Thiery has been reappointed Deputy Director for Climate Action in the Climate, Energy Efficiency and Air Department of the Directorate-General for Energy and Climate (DGEC), at the central administration of the Ministries for Ecological Transition, Energy Sovereignty and Transport, by order of the Prime Minister, the Minister for Ecological Transition, the Minister for the Economy and the Minister for Transport, dated 04/06/2026, published in the Journal officiel on 06/06/2026. He has been appointed for a period of three years, with effect from 01/07/2026.

Mickaël Thiery has been Ingénieur en chef des Ponts, Eaux et Forêts since 2023. Prior to this, he was Head of the Department for Fighting the Greenhouse Effect (DLCES) at the DGEC (September 2021 - July 2023).
