Bioeconomy: "We aim to launch a new French national action plan by 2027" (Christophe Rupp-Dahlem, CTI)

"Our action plan dates from 2018: it's time to review it. This year, we therefore launched a reflection project along these lines, with a dedicated task force, with the aim of producing a new national action plan on the bioeconomy in 2027. We are starting to work on this with the ministries and the various bodies involved, including French public agencies FranceAgriMer and Ademe", Christophe Rupp-Dahlem, Chairman of FranceAgriMer's "Bioeconomy" CTI (Inter-sector Thematic Commission), told News Tank on 03/06/2026.

" Several national strategies are converging at the same time. The PPE (multiannual energy program) has just been published, and the SNMB - the national biomass mobilisation strategy - is due to follow in January 2027. The Bioeconomy CTI is actively contributing to this, through meetings with the DGPE (Directorate General for Ecological Planning) and DGEC (Directorate General for Environment and Climate).
