Crédit Agricole Assurances: Marc Oppenheim appointed Head of Prevention, Adaptation and Safety

Marc Oppenheim has been appointed Head of Prevention, Adaptation and Security at Crédit Agricole Assurances, the company announced on 02/06/2026. In this capacity, he will join Crédit Agricole Assurances' Executive Committee and will retain his position as Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Protection et Sécurité (Nexecur), which he has held since January 2025.

A graduate of ESSEC business school, Marc Oppenheim began his career in 1985 with Thompson Grand Public, before spending 4 years with Compagnie Générale Maritime in London and Asia. He joined Crédit Lyonnais in 1993, where he held a number of positions, culminating in his appointment as Head of LCL's retail market in 2006.

He then joined Crédit Agricole S.A. in 2010 as Head of International Retail Banking. In 2017, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Immobilier, and in April 2024, he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A.
