FR / Igedd: appointment of 13 Group I inspectors and 13 Group II inspectors

A decree of the President of the Republic and an order of the Prime Minister, dated 27/05/2026, appointing Group I and Group II inspectors to the Inspectorate-General for the Environment and Sustainable Development (Igedd) at the Ministry for Ecological Transition, Biodiversity and International Negotiations on Climate and Nature were published in the Journal officiel of 30/05/2026. There are 13 inspectors appointed to Group I and 13 others to Group II. They are appointed with effect from 01/06/2026, for a period of five years, i.e. until 2031.

The following are appointed to the post of Group I inspector:

• Marcus Agbekodo, Senior Chief Local Engineer;
• Jean-Pierre Chalus, Civil Engineer (transitional grade);
• Célia de Lavergne, contract staff member;
• Francesco Gaeta, Grade 3 Civil Servant;
• Dominique Jamme, contract staff member;
• Sylvain Latarget, civil engineer (bridges, water and forestry) in the transitional grade;
• Valérie Mancret-Taylor, state architect and urban planner;
• Jean-Marc Picard, bridge, water and forestry engineer (transitional grade);
• Hervé Schmitt, bridge…
