EU: publication of the vacancy notice for the post of Executive Director of the Clean Aviation PPP

The Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking, Europe's largest aeronautics research and innovation programme, is publishing a vacancy notice in the OJEU for the post of Executive Director on 29/05/2026.

Based in Brussels, Clean Aviation operates under Horizon Europe until 2031. Its mission is to develop climate-neutral aviation technologies, aiming to reduce GHG emissions by at least 30% by 2035, with a net CO₂ reduction potential of up to 90% thanks to sustainable fuels or hydrogen.

The members of this public-private partnership are the European Union, itself represented on the Clean Aviation Governing Board by the European Commission with specific rights, the 16 industrial founding members, as well as some fifty 'core partners' including national research centres and universities.

The post of Executive Director (AD 14) is the Joint Undertaking's highest managerial responsibility. The incumbent is responsible for day-to-day management, budget execution, implementing the work programme and legally representing the organisation. He/she reports to the Steering Committee.
