FR/Ministry of Agriculture: Michel Lévêque Head of "Europe and International" Department from 01/06/2026

Michel Lévêque, a State administrator of transitional rank, is appointed head of the "Europe and International" department in the General Directorate for the Economic and Environmental Performance of Businesses of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Food Sovereignty, with effect from 01/06/2026, for a period of three years, i.e. until 2029, by order of the Prime Minister and the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Food Sovereignty, dated 15/05/2026, published in the Journal officiel on 16/05/2026.

Since 2022, he has been agricultural adviser at France's Permanent Representation to the United Nations in Rome. Between 2020 and 2022, he was an adviser in the office of the Minister of Agriculture and agricultural adviser at the French Embassy in South Africa. Trained as a teacher of economics and management techniques, he joined the agricultural world in 2004 as head of the wine, cider and spirits office at the Ministry of Agriculture.
