FR / Dualsun: with a new range of PV panels assembled in Europe, "a first step towards onshoring".

Dualsun announces the launch of a new range of European-assembled solar panels called Azur on 06/05/2026. They are assembled by Sonnenkraft, an Austrian manufacturer.

This new range of solar panels is eligible for the French reduced-rate VAT at 5.5%, thanks to a carbon footprint of 504.9 kg CO2eq/kWp. Certification procedures with Certisolis, a laboratory that carries out tests for manufacturers, constructors and operators of photovoltaic power plants, are under way, according to Dualsun.

The company points out that a European panel is structurally more expensive to produce than a Chinese panel, but that the reduction in VAT helps to offset the difference in cost.

" When we chose to manufacture in China six years ago, we set ourselves a goal: to return to Europe as soon as conditions made it possible. We're proud to be on course with this first step towards relocation," says Jérôme Mouterde, co-founder and CEO of Dualsun.
