"In Germany, wind power is still profitable on its own, but photovoltaic projects are less and less so, not least because of the very low feed-in tariffs. We have to contend with periods of negative prices for around 20% of the year, which is reducing income from photovoltaics in particular. Hybridization is the answer to this new economic situation", André Pasemann, Director of Energynious, a subsidiary of the VSB Group, told News Tank on 05/05/2026.

" Demand from companies for combined wind and solar PPAs is on the rise. Photovoltaics have a low cost, while wind power is higher, resulting in a lower average cost", added André Pasemann.
