European Sustainable Energy Awards: the nine finalists are announced, prizes will be awarded on 09/06/26

The nine finalists of the European Sustainable Energy Awards, organised by the European Commission, have been announced on 05/05/2026. The awards recognise "outstanding individuals and projects for their innovation and efforts in energy efficiency and renewables."

The awarded prizes are divided into the three following categories :
• women in energy ;
• SMEs driving energy efficiency ;
• and local energy action.

"The winners will be decided by an online public vote, open now until 31/05, and will be announced during the EUSEW Awards Ceremony in Brussels on 09/06/2026."

The event will be part of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), from 09 to 11/06, organised by the European Commission and CINEA (the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency).
