Agenda: events not to be missed between 04/05 and 08/05/2026

This week's highlight will be two key events for the maritime sector. From Tuesday to Thursday, the Global Maritime Decarbonisation Summit will take place in Amsterdam (Netherlands), and on Thursday and Friday, in Gdansk (Poland), the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) organises its annual Conference.

The European Commission will also organise several events in Brussels this week, including the Clean Energy Transition Investment Forum on Wednesday and the Brussels Economic Forum on Thursday.

In Paris, a high-level event dedicated to the reduction of methane emissions will take place at the Maison de la Chimie on Monday, in the context of the French Presidency of G7.

Finally, MEPs will discuss and vote on several key issues during the ENVI meeting on Monday and Tuesday, including the European Competitiveness Fund, the Connecting Europe Facility under the next MFF, the NGT regulation, the EU Taxonomy Regulation, the extension of the scope of the CBAM and the Food and Feed Omnibus.
