FR / CGDD: Jessica Brouard-Masson appointed Deputy Director of Scientific and Technical Coordination

Jessica Brouard-Masson has been appointed Deputy Director of Scientific and Technical Coordination within the Research and Innovation Department of the French General Commission for Sustainable Development (CGDD), the latter announced on 20/04/2026.

She succeeds Claire Sallenave, who has held the post since 2017.

Jessica Brouard-Masson is a public works engineer, a graduate of the École nationale supérieure de paysage and holder of a specialist master's degree from Ponts et Chaussées/AgroParisTech. She began her career as a landscape researcher with the SETRA (Service d'études techniques des routes et autoroutes).

She then joined the Development, Environment and Transport Department of the Seine-et-Marne Departmental Equipment Directorate as a project manager. She then joined the French Ministry of Ecology as head of the "Trame verte et bleue" project within the Directorate-General for Planning, Housing and Nature.

She was appointed regional project manager for the Aquitaine, Pays de la Loire, Limousin and Indian Ocean regions at the Agence nationale pour la rénovation urbaine (ANRU)…
