"Our mission is clear, we want to protect water against “forever chemicals”, down to the last drop, in a very meaningful, cost-effective and scalable manner. Which is as close as possible to the source to treat the short-chain PFAS, where the problem is the greatest", said Fajer Mushtaq, CEO of Oxyle, to News Tank on 17/04/2026.

"At least more than 20 000 different PFAS-contaminated sites (by more than 100 nanograms per liter) were identified in Europe, thanks to the Forever Pollution Project. And these numbers keep increasing because the active release from industrial users or day-to-day users is not stopping", she said.

“The more monitoring is carried out, the more new sites will emerge. We know this is only the tip of the iceberg”.

With its proprietary solution called OX-light, Oxyle aims to "destroy all the pollutants, including short-chains compounds that are extremely hard to filter, extremely hard to absorb, and destruction is the only option. And that's basically where we are jumping in today, to fill this really needed void in the market to help our customers.
