Waga Energy: sales of €59.6m by 2025 (+7%) and positive EBITDA of €1.2m

On 15/04/2026, the French group specialising in the production of biomethane from landfill gas announced that Waga Energy would generate sales of €59.6 million by 2025.

This figure is 7% higher than in 2024 (€55.7m), thanks to revenues generated by biomethane production (€52.8m), up 23% (€42.8m in 2024), linked to the commissioning of the Hartland unit (Canada), which offset the decline in equipment sales (-55% year-on-year).

Waga Energy's Ebitda will turn positive in 2025 at €1.2m, up by €3.8m year-on-year (-€2.6m in 2024). Waga Energy invested €118m in 2025. Free cash flow after interest was €116m and net profit €30m (compared with €17.6m in 2024), according to the company, due to the construction of Wagabox units.

Waga Energy has 36 units in operation in France, Spain, Canada and the United States, representing installed capacity of 1.9 TWh per year. The group's production units produced 674 GWh of biomethane in 2025 (+17% year-on-year). The average availability of the fleet in operation is 95%.
