Launch of the European Resilience Alliance for Clean Hydrogen and Derivatives, a pan-European initiative

"European industrial leaders join forces to accelerate clean hydrogen deployment for industrial competitiveness and energy independence in Europe through the European Resilience Alliance for Clean Hydrogen and Derivatives (ERA)", announces Hydrogen Europe, the main hydrogen lobby in Brussels, on 14/04/2026.

Launched during an event at the European Parliament in Brussels in the presence of Teresa Ribera, Executive Vice-President of the Commission for a Clean, Just and Competitive Transition, this alliance is a "pan-European" and "CEO-led" initiative, aiming to accelerate and scale clean hydrogen deployment in Europe and representing "the full clean hydrogen value chain across the EU".

"ERA’s mission is to advance Europe’s industrial decarbonisation and resilience by producing its own low-carbon fuels, industrial input materials, and products", it announces. "ERA aims to mobilise a unified coalition for policy and bankability across the value chain, as well as to build scalable markets, clusters, and cross-border corridors to promote scale and self-reliance."
